Is Peterson still No. 1 running back in the NFL?

Adrian Peterson, the Minnesota Vikings running back, should be honored as the best running back in the NFL today because he has been on the list of the fantasy football for a couple of years. But nowadays there is debate on which is better between Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson. For some football fans, Peterson is better while others hold the idea that Johnson is better as he fumbles much less. In my opinion, to evaluate a running back, we have to take his size, power, speed, durability and versatility into consideration. According to Sporting News, Peterson is better as he has a slight edge on Chris Johnson as he is one runner like a bull.

Considering his power and huge size, he does have the advantage over Johnson. In spite that Chris Johnson has tremendous speed and great body control, he loses to Peterson in his physical size. But we have to acknowledge that Johnson is not much worse than Peterson. Although Peterson fumbles a lot in Adrian Peterson jersey, he is doing an excellent job on the field since his rookie year in the NFL.
